Career Opportunities – Protocol Software Engineer

Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of ONStor EverON system software
- Develop design specifications/features, implement solutions, develop unit tests, review code, review test plans
- Work closely with engineering team members
Required Experience:
- Experience developing 2 or more of the following:
- NFS
- CIFS
- Samba
- RPC
- Kerberos
- LDAP
- Active Directory
- ISCSI
- Experience developing Unix/Linux kernel-level software not limited to device drivers
- BS/MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering
- 2-4+ years experience
Desired Experience:
- Experience developing any of the following:
- Embedded Linux/Unix
- VxWorks
- Proprietary RTOS
- Switches/routers
- Networking
- Appliances
- Storage background
Skills:
- Passion for writing high quality, well designed and documented code
- Strong C/C++, Unix/Linux, programming and debugging skills
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
- Demonstrated ability to learn and develop complex system software
- Highly motivated and a quick learner
- Excellent verbal/written communication skills
