Recent Storage Study finds that Fortune 1000 users place ONStor on the short list

For the study, TheInfoPro surveyed 300 IT leaders from a range of firms, including more than 150 Fortune 1000 companies. Respondents were asked which vendor’s NAS Gateway solutions they now implement or plan to deploy in the near future. Only EMC and Network Appliance were named more often than ONStor by responders in the study.

TheInfoPro study further indicates that 55 percent of respondents will spend more on NAS in 2006; that storage professionals are streamlining tools and resources to better manage their increasing workload; and that the top three dynamics driving growth in networked storage are business expansion, regulatory compliance and the low cost of storage.
